Fashion life Fashion week Fashion fun Fashion night

During the fashion week, we go from one side to the other. We cross the city several times a day. Under the rain or with a great weather. The week end, after 5 days of work, presentations and shows, the fashion people starts to get tired of this 12 hours non-stop working days.

The best day to go out during the Fashion week is saturday. In the beginning of october, the place to have dinner is the Restaurant Mathi’s, where I met my old student Julien Calmettes. I met the photographer Giampaolo Segura, Miguel Arnau, Eric Yerno and Ahmed Al Bawardi among other friends.

We finish at the Rasputin, where Franck Maillot, the director of the place, was trying to handle with all fashion people ( The model Marpesa, Haider Ackermann, Laetitia Crahay, Ali Mahdavi,… ) trying to get a drink to have a break of the week .

As always, I was with my camera with me. The snapshots above.

The Vampire Ball

It’s been almost a year since Carine Roitfeld stopped being Editor-in-Chief at Vogue Paris. One of the most powerful tastemakers in the industry, she still maintains status, although without a magazine in which to directly package her views. However she won´t stop dancing, with plenty to celebrate…

I was at her book launch (Irreverent, Rizzoli, 2011) Raspoutine club in Paris last October 4th 2011 and I took pictures of all the guests . The theme of the party was “Vampires” and the house was certainly full of them. Hope you enjoy the pictures I did for Hercules magazine.

Thanks to David Vivirido and Francesco  Sourigues
